Are the bodies not different on the left handed models? Is a left handed neck available as a build option with a right handed body?

I guess you would have to ask, they probably consider that a custom order. Also they may want to keep that design limited to what and when they want to build them. Makes it more special that way.
If anyone's looking for an MV5, I just dropped one in the For sale. If I didn't have another one, it wouldn't be going anywhere

"Neck profile, nut width, solid wood choice, body shape (full size), headstock shape, full painted neck. It's basically a very very very, non-custom orderable JT4.
And funny enough, it does come out way different with all the specific specs"-Spencer Lull

Did you end up installing the 3 Leaf preamp? I'd be curious to know your thoughts. I know that I love it in my bass but everyone is different.

And the owner is liking what he's hearing, although he was gonna know more after this weekend.
I was installing the 3Leaf to help my bud, thinking I wasn't really interested in it as I was happy with my Trickfish.
However….
Even with an older set of strings, the 3Leaf has some interesting characteristics that have piqued my interest. It's definitely more "aggressive" as Spencer alluded to, especially with the high mids. And he's since put a new set of strings on his M5V, so I'm hoping to check it out closer. I play with heavier strings and a slightly higher action (can't seem to control my Neanderthal touch….
), but I still think I'll get a good idea of how it sounds to me.And I know how these things go….
I'll install the 3Leaf, saying I'm uninterested in it. Then I play around with it a bit before I hand it back to the owner.
Then I can't get the sound and my growing curiosity out of my head. Dang it!
Soooo….
I'm probably gonna order one when they become available. I love a really aggressive jazz bass tone going through a tube DI.
So, yeah, stay tuned that, too!….

Having two Mike Lull basses already, I knew somewhat what to expect but wow, this IMA4 is something special. I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to purchase it. I already knew how great the Lull Tbird pickups are but there's a fullness and a resonance to each note that is so satisfying. Perhaps it's the non-chambered body? Perhaps it's the combination of all of the ingredients yielding a tonal stew that my ears crave, wrapped in a gorgeous Firemist Amber finish? Regardless, I'm a happy man.

I'll be joining the club again soon. My first Lull was a P5 that I bought 15-20 years ago. It was a great bass, but after a few years, I started playing 4s exclusively so I sold it. I owned a few others over the years including a nice PJ that I sold for $1600 about 8 years ago 
. This time, I'm going back to the P5 which is basically the same color combo (natural ash/maple) as my first one. Made around the same time as well.

Amazing basses. But, there is something so satisfying about seeing those cases lined up like that.
