Yeah mine has that too everywhere....I never looked that close...and you cant see it unless you hold it up to the light...but each fret pretty much has that glue line....plus some fret spout.
It doesnt effect playing at all...it still plays amazing!! not sure if I should do anything?

I wouldn't do anything now. If Paul writes me back and says "Glue line, that's normal" I'll just leave it and after winter comes and goes I'll get the sprout taken care of then locally.
She's going back. Hopefully it's covered under warranty and I'm just out the shipping. He didn't say.
He just said it was very fixable and to send it on in. He didn't say more than that.

I know you use DRs....but they sound wonderful with flats when playing older stuff!
Umm... My PJ5-24 is not lacking anything. We are all entitled to our opinions, though.

Thats actually BIG Singles...
I was just at Carey's shop this week and we were discussing the description of Big Singles.
He calls it "Its a Jazz with just more of everything" "I call it a thick pickup with the upper mid openness, clarity and snap of a single" He agreed with my description as well.

I noticed the same lines on my M5V fretboard a while back but they're even and consistent so I just assumed they were normal for Mike's basses. It's definitely not glue oozing out, as that would not be so even. As for fret sprout, I have had no issues whatsoever with my Lull.
I wouldn't do anything if your bass is relatively new. Wood takes time to settle, even after it has been turned into a bass.
Oh I know....and the most problems I ever had with a bass was around November here when we go from humid air to like arctic dry air....I am waiting for that and if it gets a little worse then do the ends.....Its not bothering me enough to do them now......but the maple does stick out a tad while my 2 rosewood Lulls have no spout what so ever.
your description of the big single is pretty much the same as the fat stack! now I have to google big single vs fat stack!

fat stacks darker...big singles brighter more modern.....Next Lull I order next year I think will be a PJ with a big single in the J spot.

I think you would be stoked with that...They are doing more with that configuration.
