Mine has been in the "pre-shipment" stage for 4 days now. Not saying that to complain; just stating fact. It's good to get info from others about their order status.
I'll have to clarify with my bandmate whether his notification was a shipping label being created or if his pedal has actually shipped.
Edit: Bandmate just checked... shipping label created, but not shipped. So, he's in the same liminal state.

I have not been informed of anything yet. Let us know if/When you have any luck contacting them and what the scoop is. They supposedly had 250 pedals to ship and only two people to do all the work. So I can understand some delay.
Been trying to email them and call them for a week now with no luck
Just wondering - what do you need to ask them? You stated earlier that you didn't order in batch 1.
I'm excited to check out the Micro-Tron but I'm not stressing about it. No real point in complaining or pestering Mu-Fx. They said they're trying to get them shipped out and I'm good with that.
I did order it 2 days before they apparently were sold out. I was calling to confirm i was on the first batch brcause i was also told there was a additional 250 that would be avail 2 weeks later. I wanted to confirm this and also ask about the new tru tron thats coming out early next year. I notice you get worked up when people are trying to ask what the status is of their pedal or pedals but i dont think you can blame them if they want some kind...any kind of status update...anything at all that says they got your order and it will be shipped out in a reasonable amount of time. I was unaware that they were going to take this long. I thought 250 were all made and ready to go but apparently this seems to not be the case. Customer service is lacking to say the least but this is my opinion. I know they are busy but again Im not trying to seem like im being unreasonable mosfed just letting everyone know what im dealing with but if thats a issue in this thread ill stay out.
The last thing I saw before the sold out went up was that there were 250 pedals to ship and only 2 people to do the shipping. So that is 20.83 pedals a day per person. and from the way It sounded they should have had them all shipped by Friday. Guess not. SlappinDaBass I was under the same impression that the first 250 were set to ship and a second batch would follow. Also that the sold out went up when the last one of the first batch was sold. Any confirmation at this point would be a good thing.
I was slightly concerned after I pre-ordered mine and then didn't hear anything for quite a while.
For reference I ordered mine around 9:30 pm on August 1st - so a preorder but very late in the day.
But the first email after that said they'd be shipping as they could, with a USP shipping notice appearing well before the pedal actually shipped. Then there was a second email saying they were working on shipping out Micro-Trons and that everyone who ordered one would get theirs. A day or so later my shipping note from USPS appeared. I'm expecting it to be in the mail in a few days.
If THAT doesn't happen then I might worry.
I suspect there were more moving parts with this product (I'm guessing boards built up overseas though I have no info) and that has caused some delays based on Mike's comments/frustration. Would explain the production/assembly hiccups.
Anyway, my only real concern is that it sounds great. I've been searching for eons for my ideal filter. If this one turns out to be it I'm not going to dwell on waiting a week or two longer than I initially assumed.

Mike is a great guy and I'm glad he is still making pedals. He is a very small operation and not a young man. I waited months for the Phasor 2x and didn't email him once. I don't have any doubts everyone will get their pedals. Just be patient and if you don't like the pedal I'm sure if you wait a bit you'll more than make your money back. Tru-Trons sell for more than original Mu-Trons.
This may be where some of our conclusions differ.
I figured that the July 25 and August 1 transactions were purchases of fully-built, tested and ready-to-go pedals, not pre-orders. I assumed that the pedals were at Mu-FX, and it was simply a matter of shipping them once payment was received.
Apparently, I was mistaken. Not angry, but a little frustrated. I LOVE Mike Beigel's filters - Mu-Tron, Q-Tron, Q-Balls, Bi-Filter - and he's been very cool with me via e-mail, so this is nothing personal against Mike. I really want to make that clear.
I had my date mixed up. I also pre-ordered mine on July 25th with the "Shakedownstreet" password. I actually got the password and info just a couple days earlier from Todd at Mu-Fx. And in his email response to me he described it as a pre-order and he mentioned that if I missed out on that date I could buy one of the remaining units (if there were some left) on August 1st. So I always thought it was a preorder. BUT, I definitely thought the Micro-Trons were going to be ready to go out the door on August 1st. Every indication pointed to that being the case.
So I don't think we're far off from one another. You've just got an extra week of built-up frustration on me.
I ordered Mine at 8 AM on July 28 . Still nothing beyond the original will be shipping as quickly as possible. It did say they had 250 units to ship and only two people to do the shipping. Also said they had an additional 200 coming in two weeks That were being finished up. I took this as we will have the 250 units ready to roll out the door on the beginning shipping date and it will just be a matter of how long it takes two people to get them all shipped. Is this not the case?
NEWS FLASH: Mu-FX runs on hippie time, people. This ain't Amazon Prime we are dealing with.

Has anyone who received a shipping notice received their pedal or even seen the USPS tracking move past the "pre-shipment" stage?
I'm trying to channel my hippie side and be patient but everything seems to have gone quiet here and elsewhere. I haven't seen any new posts about anyone receiving a pedal for over a week now.

People have received the pedal, they may simply not have posted in this thread. Mine was shipped this weekend, but it's international so I have not yet received it. The tracking is getting updated as you'd expect it though. It looks like it is about to hit customs at any point.
