Thanks. I'm glad to hear progress elsewhere. I ordered minutes after the pre-order opened and my tracking information has only shown pre-shipment for nearly a week now.
I ordered on the preorder day. I would have it already if it was not for international shipping. It shipped within 24 hours of the label being created.
No one ever accused me of having any intelligence but I'm guessing there will be another run, possibly several but that any dates Mu-Fox throws out there should be viewed as "optimistic" and very tentative.
In other news, my Micro-Tron is finally headed my way and slated to arrive Friday.
Hopefully, in subsequent runs Mike will locate the signal input and output jacks further apart. I tried to demo a bandmate's tonight but my pancake style pedal cables wouldn't fit in the narrowly spaced jacks. They would not fit anyway I tried.

This is why I rarely ever buy the first run of anything. It's hard for anyone to think of all the variables.
I just heard from Mike. Both of my units were shipped and arrived in NYC on the 19th of August. I won't get them for a while but that's a good thing. I ordered in the first minutes of the preorder and I got some of the first units.
That is generally my M.O., as well. I was really on the fence about being an early adopter for this pedal. Oddly enough, I pulled the trigger because these guys do not inspire confidence as businessmen. My worry about not having another chance to buy this product if I didn't get in on the first run outweighed my concern about first run design flaws. Go figure.
Didn't get to play it as I didn't have cables that fit with the narrow spacing.
So you bothered them with an email because you were worried they weren't getting your pedals out quickly enough?
No - I hadn't gotten any of my tracking or pre-shipping notices because I don't have access to the email tied to my PayPal and just wanted them sent to my email address. Turns out the pedals were already delivered to NYC. They were very quick to respond.
Since I wouldn't be in NYC for a while I ordered a third unit to be sent here to France.
Yeah, those jacks are pretty tightly spaced. Reminds me a bit of Aguilar's 1st gen enclosures with the lip that didn't work with right angle plugs.
I'm looking forward to running my Micro-Tron through its paces this weekend with my basses and my guitar.

I received mine earlier today and have decided I like other options I have better. I will be listing it in the classifieds later this evening, so if there is anyone who wanted one but didn't get in before they sold out here's your chance. I'm just looking to be kept whole on my purchase - everything will be packed up like new (actually better as I will ship in a box, instead of padded envelope). Includes the battery buddy.
If I don't have any takers after the weekend I will just ship back to the Mu-FX guys on Monday.
