“Almost straight” could mean “almost not twisted” or “kinda not totally warped.”

Yo, I passed back at Lucky #13 and spent a couple hundred more buying one that looks pretty pristine!
Should I take this to mean it has the appropriate amount of relief or that it's bowed? Sorry for the dumb question!
Behold an excerpt:
If I played such a base in a live house
Significant attention! What?
The neck is almost straight.
Fret is over 9 minutes.
It is unused after rubbing.
Your guess is as good as mine! Mind you, my Japanese is infinitely worse than this guy's English.

Hi everybody, I'm interested in an Aria Pro II Thor bass--it checks a lot of boxes for me--the description of which boasts the cryptic line, "The neck is almost straight." Should I take this to mean it has the appropriate amount of relief or that it's bowed? Sorry for the dumb question!

That's the first verse of a song.
Because some people are oversuspicious: "Hmm, he didn't talk about the neck straightness, it must be bent". What is fine or undesirable is different for everybody. A little bit of relief (i.e. almost straight) and an excessively bowed neck are two different things.Phrases like "new neck" or "new strings" don't ring a bell, but why would one write about neck straightness if it's just fine. I'd be suspecting.
Most Prog Rock bands would disagree. There's no money after the 9th minute.![]()
