Right. My point is that for the same amount of money as a new Buggery/Bear-ringer amp, you can get a NOS Ampeg that will deafen many people at once, given the right cabs, and hold up to the rigors of gigging (which Behringer gear will not), AND sound mighty good. Your point is....?

+1It would be interesting to try before I would make a judgement...only thing is I don't have enough speaker cabinets to give the amp a proper test drive! Amp $599.00, Enough Cabinets $4,000 +
i came in here to say this. keep in mind that an amp will draw more power from the wall than it puts out to the speaker. you cant really run more than a 1200wrms amp on 120v@15A (1800w) supply. the circuitry tends to be around 60% efficient.
I find it a bit funny that this amp has been out for a few years now and there is no mention of it breaking or the quality being compromised.
People who don't have issues don't post... and when something does break a quick google search will usually return multiple threads of people crying and all the ampeg guys say I told you so.
I know that at least a few thousand of these amps have sold... so why no negative feedback from people who actually own one?
Summation: The quality is good.
Who cares if it doesn't reach 3600 watts? How many of you have the kind of money to replace your cabs when you turn the volume up "a little too loud"?
This is the logic I used when deciding to buy one myself and I'm beyond satisfied.
In all fairness, I will post when I actually DO have an issue with the amp... and I plan on putting this thing through its paces!

power amps seem to be one area where behringer actually does decently. however, i'm so put off by them quoting peak power in an attempt to make it sounds more impressive, and i'm pretty put off by their business model of knocking off popular products with cheap parts then making them look like the knocked off products that i cant ever see buying any of their products.
