Ok, guys, this is as black as I am going to go. I posted this a couple of months ago after adding an Omega bridge, one ply pickguard, screws, control plate, knobs, Schaller tuners, strap knobs, string tree, headstock vinyl and DR black beauty strings. I took some heat about the nut and white position markers, so here it is with a spray painted nut and adhesive black position markers. It's as black as I am going to go. So if you want to tell me about graphite necks and ebony fingerboard and pickups with no pole pieces be forewarned it ain't happening. I like how this looks so I'm sticking with it!

My only suggestion would be the black vinyl cutout block "inlay" stickers. I have them on my P bass and I think they look pretty sharp. Observe -

But then....you wouldn't see it.....

But you’re calling it “none more black.” It makes me want to get a black bass with a graphite neck and pickups with solid black covers and a black-on-black headstock logo, and bring it to this thread and embarrass you. And then you’d have to call your bass “some more black”, or “none more black, pretty much, except for that blacker one”, or even just “fairly black in comparison.” Don’t let this happen to you. I wanna see you go the distance and shut down all competition.

Thank you! I bought them. They're generic block "inlay" stickers. I just laid them out offset instead of centered, and I cut the 12th fret marker in half.
