There are a few reports out there that Dominic Hasik, age 47, is looking at making another comeback. He played the 2010-2011 season in Europe and trains like crazy, plus there are teams interested in him. I think he could do it. I could see a team like Toronto, or TB being interested in him to mentor their young guys.

No kidding! He was awesome. He was my favorite in the 90s while at Buffalo and he was huge in the Olympics for Czech Republic. The most unorthodox--saves from his back or rolling over or second effort(more rolling over & making kick saves). If he's in shape why not.

You're ahead of me, still on '10 here. I like the Pens team with Rupp and Gonchar better. Plus, that was the pre-concussion Crosby, so he plays better. Still whines about the same though.

Oh wow, what a game. You don't see Brodeur get beat like that often. Probably a product of Brodeur not seeing Kopitar enough to know his tendencies.

Like someone else said in this thread, I'm getting too much Doc Emrick. Tomorrow I'm going to DRRIIIIIIVVVVVEEEEE to work and take a SHOT at finishing a couple server builds. I do use the drive expression and it drives my wife nuts. She agreed to watch some of game two with me so she can hear where I got it from.

Mike, while watching this game, I thought about you. Aren't you the guy who says he prefers low-scoring, defensive-styled games? You got your wish tonight. It was a good game. It's kind of strange to watch when I don't have a preference for one team over the other. Oddly enough though (for a Flyers fan), once I turned it on I found myself (half-heartedly) rooting for the Devils. I've always liked Brodeur.

But I'll tell you what: I'd sure love to have Quick on the Flyers! He's pretty impressive, although he didn't have to work too hard tonight. And speaking of working hard, kudos to both teams. They definitely came to play...

Not exactly a barn burner. Did either team even make it to 20 shots? There sure wasn't a lot of room out there. I hope it opens up a bit from here on in.

It's hard to not like the Kings. Right after the game they interviewed Kopitar and asked him about the OT goal. Before even mentioning anything he did, he called Marty a world class goaltender. I don't get a chance to watch many west coast games but that's a classy guy right there.

Jeff....yes, that is me. A 1-0 game is the best, but I'm happy with 2-1 or even 3-2 sometimes. 3-2 is pushing it though.

That was part of the reason I was so sideways during the PHI/PIT series. Some of those games were a joke with all the goals scored. Even the one where the Pens scored double digits.....boring to me.
