I went to the lake where they filmed "What About Bob?" the other day, but I haven't seen that one either. I'd have to say Bob and Doug McKenzie are our national heroes.

I disagree. I don't think the refs in the NHL are any worse than the refs in any other American major sports league. The NHL is far, far faster than any other sport, and on top of that, these guys have sticks, which adds to the complexity of the split-second determinations that the refs have to make. There are definitely missed calls, but I don't think it's any worse than umpires calling balls and strikes, the stupid hand fouls that get called in basketball, or the massive inconsistency in illegal hits from game to game in football.
Did you come down to VA? Little known fact: even though the film purports that they're at that Lake Winnipffkjsnfalafndmaknfb in New Hampshire, it was actually filmed at Smith Mountain Lake in VA, where I spend several weekends each year.

I still disagree. The refs in our last series were abysmal.

I dont watch espn my tvs on the nhl network or I watch movies. The rest of my time off is playing bass, hockey, golf or gigging.
