So, at second attempt a good amount of Loctite 2701 worked even faster than I could completely tighten the bullet on truss rod - so I'll have to shorten the allen key to adjust truss rod without pain in the arse - but it definetely worked.

@ebozzz Previously bullet unscrewed from truss rod due to possible technological mistake Maruszczyk luthiers made while using Loctite 270-threadlock to glue bullet on truss rod (or due to idea of gluing the bullet by itself)

Got my Sea Foam Elwood 4a back from the luthier today. The main reason that I took it to him was due to a stripped screw on one of the strap buttons. While there, I also had him swap the bridge to a Hipshot KickAss, take care of some fret sprout, put on a set of 45-100 D'Addario NYXLs and set it up. I've only played it briefly but it seems to have more of what I was looking for now. Agressive traits. When I took it in he didn't appear to be very enthusiastic about it. His opinion changed. Now? "It's a player and if it was a POS, I'd tell you....."

Beautiful lady you got there. Nice choice. I like the bridge. Is she fitted with Delano split? As you know i'm waiting for my second Maruszczyk and i'm more than pleased with my present Elwood 4p multiscale. So much that i'll dare telling you a short story:
My ex bass teacher and now a friend came along to my place few weeks ago for an improvised jam. He tried all of my 18 basses, several custom among them. At the end of the session he asked me if he could borrow my Elwood for few weeks.
He has used it for some gigs (he's a pro musician) including some jazz venues in town. I'm still chasing him to get my bass back but he doesn't seem too happy with the idea and the last i know is that he's still gigging around with a 4 string passive 3.2 kg multi scale bass... my Maruszczyk. I think he has given up his Ken Smith 6 string instead :cool:

All in all i can only expect the best from my new FROG

Nice bass!! How do you like the bridge. Are you a person that sets up his bass regularly? I do, and that's why I'm curious if that is a sturdy, easy to handle bridge.

Typical ABM-esque bridge...not much to it. The offset grub screw behind the saddle is the channel lock for intonation, the one on front locks the the actual saddle in place. From the looks of things, the channels are radiused (different heights) to match that of the fingerboard.
