So close to pulling the trigger on this one. I think I have it dialed in to exactly what I want.
I got the bass delivered yesterday
It is fantastic. The quality of craftsmanship is top notch. My first bass ever with a zero fret and I don't think I'll ever buy a bass without it. All I can say is WOW. It's a steal at this price.

I know.....Every time I think I have the one I want dialed in, I rethink it and change it. I know I am getting close because I don't change the model, electronics, or the base wood. It's always the aesthetics.

I have a blue Sputnik headless that I've dialed in and waiting until I release a few Warwicks back into the wild to fund it.
I guess if I had not bought that PRS Custom 24 wood library 6'er I could have pulled the trigger already, but I couldn't resist the 1-piece quilted top and flamed blue neck

I'm looking at ordering a joker bass, most likely a medium scale. Does anybody have any experience with them? How comfortable are they sitting down? Are there are hard edges? It looks pretty smooth and easy to rest your arm on

What is it you like about the zero fret?
Does anyone with a headless Frog find the tuners on the ETS Bridge a bit stiff?
May be just an issue with one that was missing a washer so we used something else.

Not got a Frog but I do have 2 headless basses so I know the tuners can be hard to move even with the nylon washers. A tiny amount of white PTFE/Teflon grease helps.
Action! I've never had a bass with a properly cut nut. There was something wrong with every single one of them.
I even had problems with the Warwick Thumb I had that had adjustable nut - the plastic sides snapped off.
This is no more now.
I'll take some photos over the weekend and post them here. Too busy with work and playing the bass these days. This bass is a beast. Those pickup switches are the best thing ever. Adrian was very helpful with developing this idea. Top lad.

Sweet! I've built the same bass a few times in the configurator. Ash + black hardware is so rad.
What model is it - is it the lightweight one? The body looks quite boxy and thick front to back. Makes me think it's hollow.
