I wish my flamed maple neck came out like that! The entire bass is gorgeous but that neck....wow

Did you upgrade the neck for the flame?
Ha, Adrian posted a Video of my Bass today. In the Video, the Bass was like i ordered it, with Flatwounds. At least, i've changed the Strings to Roundwounds, what fits the Bass much better. Ah...ande the Luminlays are Green of course and not as mentioned by Slawek, in blue.
You got very lucky with that, enjoy that bass when you get it!I just ordered a roasted flamed Maple Neck in the Configurator..![]()

I like the birdseye best with the jet black, the busier color scheme best with the flame.Man the configurator is so much fun.
I really want a fanned fretless with luminlay markers. Maybe they'd make one if I ask
I looooove birdseye maple but can't decide what top colour'd look the best, so many choices!

You didn't explicitly ask for a vote but I like #2 followed closely by the pop of #4!Man the configurator is so much fun.

Results: Beautiful! The one-piece bird's eye maple neck and quilted ash top give it traditional, resonant jazz tones. The wenge fretboard and mahogany back sweeten the mids and highs a bit while keeping the mix on the bright and bold side. Bell-like blended tones, quite bright and loud (stainless rounds at the moment), yet even and clear on all strings across the fretboard. The Frog cousin is much different, more of a stand-up stand-in with the Macassar ebony board and ziricote top--understated by comparison, with a little growl and lots of mwaahh (needs a dusting).

I'm really liking it. Sounds as bold as it looks. What are you getting for the body? That looks great!
I'm working on a build right now that will have the quilted ash top with matte blue burst… that was inspired by this one, so I hope it turns out like this one
