Man that's a bummer. What are you thinking you'll do? Get it worked on locally? It's a drag to need to put a couple hundred into getting the board planed / surfaced / plek'd etc., but it'll be worth it and a whole lot easier than shipping it back to Poland or Germany.

Randy has been accommodating and agreed to have a local Luthier look at it tomorrow to weigh in on how they'd resolve it. Otherwise I may have to ship to Randy for repair in Chicago.

Adrian says he played it for 20 mins and it's not a problem. I guess if I didn't need that E note on the A string… it's been a long winding road on this one and is getting bumpier instead of smoother.

Well, there are 8 other E's on that neck, so learn to play around it. :D

Hopefully your local guy can figure something out.

Yeah. A build like this shouldn't have this problem and I'd be upset about it too. As much as it sucks to have to possibly pay more and wait longer, getting the board leveled should take care of it and you'll be in love with the bass again. It'll totally be worth the cost, and eventually you won't even be thinking about how much you put into that bass, only that you love playing it!
