Nice bass! More white pickups in the world, please.
looking through the couch shots, I get the impression they do runs of a certain model all at once, then move to the next. So all Elwoods, Frogs, etc. at a time. Can anyone confirm? It would make sense from a production POV.

No sure that is the case. FYI, they build about 500 instruments a year (and growing) so if they get shipments from the Polish factory say once a month, I don’t think they necessarily work on one model type at a time. All models appear to me to come in the same timely fashion. Most of my builds seem to be 4 - 4.5 months. I have another build (headless 6 string frog) that is being delayed waiting for the ETS hardware. Supply chain delays appears to be the cause of any delays these days.
These shots always made me think that was the case, but I don’t know if these were just made in batches for in-stock purpose. These are older pictures from their Instagram.

Just curious,
How many people have ordered a Maruszczyk with a 35-inch neck or longer ? ?
I am also interested in what are some of the more outlandish or one off requests people have asked Adrian for ? ?

Well, maybe 33-35" multiscale could be considered outlandish. I have 3 of those.
I'm contemplating getting a 5-string twin of the Frog I already have. And I'm contemplating a 35" neck for it.

I asked for the MM pickup to be installed right next to the P pickup and it was refused unfortunately.
I also wanted a Sadowsky preamp and while it was possible, I had to provide it. In the end I chose to go passive and I’ll use the pedal preamp.

That’s unfortunate about the pickup placement. That’s an arrangement I’ve contemplated for a while.
Weird, because that was a request of mine and a dealbreaker if it couldn’t be done, and it went through just fine (I mean, so far, I don’t have the bass yet).
Based it on this idea. They even shared the video in the order.
Passive, so maybe that makes a difference.

This video was also a big part of me wanting this setup. That and the fact that bridge PU always sounds too thin IMO with « regular » placement on a two pickups bass.
My build was also passive. Adrian’s answer was basically that he refused it because in the past they tried it and it didn’t made any difference in tone. Maybe for him…but I totally disagree.
8 weeks into My 30" Elwood order...1/2 way there, maybe sooner since I chose passive Maruszczyk branded pickups for it.
