Just got my couch shot too! This one is coming from Randy. Elwood L, alder, maple, daphne blue, Aguilar Super Doubles, and a handful of other things. Quicker than expected, just over 3 months. Still has to come across the water I’m assuming though.

I've always wanted a short(er) scale J bass with nice pickups. The Configurator is too much fun.
This Elwood C has Aguilar 4J-60s, Hipshot hardware, passive V/B/T. Debating 30" vs 32" still.
Which do you like?:

Are the Elwood C bodies proportion to scale length? 30, 32, 34 has small, medium, large body?

Here's a photo of Jakes in the three scales - the answer is yes, they do get smaller with shorter scales.
I imagine the same thing happens with Elwood Cs
It's worth noting - for those with a sensitive eye to the classic proportions - that while the bodies change size according to scale length, the headstocks appear to remain the same full size.
Personally, I think the 32 just about carries it off, but the 30 looks too jarring for my tastes.
Not that Maruszczyk would be alone in this - see the new Squier Paranormal Rascal also. I suspect with a 4-on-one-side headstock, there are certain geometries you can't mess with.
