The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

I wonder if anybody on the thread had requested significant changes to the their bass at any time during the build process? The reason why I ask is because I've seen two seprate Elwood 6a basses, one with a flame maple and the other with a birds eye neck, both look insanely good ( I am talk about you five six seven and that bad ass 6er of yours)! I placed my order back in the end of November and now am having the crazy idea to change my neck from all flame maple to a birdseye/flame/birdseye neck.

Of course, you could always go for the roasted maple....

I was originally going to go with roasted but the roasted images that were on Public Peace were relatively really deep reddish tone. I was afraid that such a dark color would take away from the wood. I had asked if they had a lighter tone for their roasted neck and that was met with a not at this moment.

Yeah....but what about at THIS moment?.....:D

You are right, the roasted maple is a pretty dark color. The neck you see in this photo is a vintage tinted maple neck. I acquired this Info from Adrian and I chose it for my Frog, this is how it turned out:

Glad to have eased your burden....

Man, I read it while drinking a beverage and I almost spit it out! Then I began to laugh out LOUD! My co-workers left me alone after that which was what I wanted. I could then put my headphones on and avoid all of the workplace gossip. Headphone mode was where I resided the remainder of the evening. Listening to music, periodically checking out Pierre's & Adrian's videos as well as lusting over potential targets for the future on the Public Peace site. Yep, it was a productive evening.....
