Interesting. 35” scale.
Both of mine are as well. Is that odd? I know a lot of people are doing 434s now, but I still would’ve thought the 34” was the more rare option.
I had a 535 with a black limba body, ebony top and wenge/wenge neck. Great sounding bass.I’m considering another build with a buckeye burl top over black limba and a wenge/wenge neck...Does anybody hear have anything similar?

Pretty sure it’s the standard preamp.Anyone have any idea of what preamp Mr Gouche has in his signature bass's that's different from the rest?
The difference is that it's Andrew Gouche playing it.Pretty sure it’s the standard preamp.

Yes, I've heard that from more than one source. Hey, if works why not? What I found funny was a video in which AG is describing his custom bass and he isn't sure of the kind of wood used. And Andre told me one time that he prefers to run all the controls (including Bass, Mid, and Treble) all the way up.
Confirmed. And with the mid switch in the lowest, 250 Hz position. And Andre told me one time that he prefers to run all the controls (including Bass, Mid, and Treble) all the way up.
It's definitely different, just not sure what he has going on. Someone must know?Pretty sure it’s the standard preamp.

So it’s different in his own basses but it’s the standard preamp in his signature model?Andrew himself admitted in a recent livestream that it was different in his personal basses. Of course, he didn't know what it was and also said that it was exclusive only to his own basses.
That is how I interpreted what he saidSo it’s different in his own basses but it’s the standard preamp in his signature model?
