Glarry! What do I win? ;P I'm kind of jealous I didn't get any swag during my visit hahaha

Although I've not looked lately I don't know that those Tobias Lads have much if ANY Swag to offer. From a Marketing perspective, that's a mistake for ANY small Company. Potential Owners may not have the Cash today but each time they put on a piece of clothing they're reminded of their Dream and they toss another Dollar in the Piggie Bank. As for the MTD "Love Shack" they may currently have a MTD Baseball Cap....cuz I received the all Black one within the past two Years....I don't recall.

An MTD Covid Mask would be a Big Seller as the Logo is a Perfect Shape for a Cootie Guard.

Great sounding 535. Sorry if you already mentioned it in the video (I skipped around and might have missed it) but what are the body and neck woods (I’m assuming the neck is maple and not ash)?

Body is Rose of the mountain on ash with a maple neck and birdseye board.

I am going through Donovan @ FretSpot, $500 down and about a year is what I was told. But mine's a 535-24, and he said he may be able to get me into one of his earlier reserved spots since it's a similar build (ash body, walnut top, ash neck, maple 'board).

20% deposit and 12-18 months depending on suppliers

I’m currently in possession of two 535s, and figured I would use this chance to compare them, with the hopes of it being a good reference for someone. Here is a video I made comparing the sounds of my 1998 Avodire/wenge and my new to me 2007 ash/ash (recently purchased from a very cool TBer) 535s. I have tried to keep all settings equal and I used the same strings. My goal was to compare the ash neck and wenge neck, though I know these aren’t the only factors in the sound. Headphones probably required.

Watching youtube on the couch last night, at about the 4:00 minute mark, he mentions an upcoming 432 build, so it’s possible.

standard mtd pickups are flat top. i don't know if he can offer radiused.

I've never seen radiused pickups on an MTD and my guess is that they are not an option. You could always email Mike Tobias and ask.
