Thanks, Jon, I did try tightening the nut and the screws, but the tuners themselves are just a little bit loose and kind of squirrelly. I might just go ahead and replace them.

I see that many have switched out the tuners for Hipshot ultralites - will that help with the tuners being a bit tighter? I dont care so much about weight, I used a wide strap and neck dive is not an issue - but will change them out if it will help with tuner "slop"

Yes I found the Hipshots a nice solid upgrade on my Rumblekat

No activity for a while, and have a few questions. I've been noticing that when I turn up the tone knob (ie, to brighter position), the volume gets louder. Wondering if I need to check/possibly replace the tone pot and/or harness? Anyone else have this happen? I'm pretty good at repairs, but don't know much about circuitry. Also, just a follow-up - I did purchase the Sire Gig bag and am very happy with it. The Rumblekat has quickly become my #1 go-to bass, just so easy to play and sounds great!

Sorry I can't answer your circuitry question. I agree with your comments about the Rumblekat, though -- a great bass! Glad to hear the Sire gig bag worked out. Hopefully someone will come along and respond on the circuitry question soon.

Good morning all. My new to me 2012 Rumblekat just arrived yesterday. Put it through a 3 hour practice with my Allman Brothers Band tribute band. It is a really nice bass to play. I am sorry I missed the boat on this bad boy years ago. Pic's shortly. I have to fix the bridge pins (they are pulling out) and I need to find a hard case for it.

Yeah, I have this issue. From what I have seen, it doesn't look too terrible to fix. I am getting new set of correct strings as these are not a proper set of D'Addario strings

Doesn’t look too bad. Maybe try to push them in when there isn’t tension on the bridge…you might need to add a little glue if the grommets keep coming out.
With 3 point bridges if the front single bolt is a bit lower than the rear bolts it can help prevent them from pulling out.
The Rumblekat is a great bass.
