Decided to do the bridge swap and put new strings on.....

On the bench ready for surgery....

New Hipshot bridge is much bigger and beefier....

Installed - Super easy install, just 2 bolts.....

Used the felt pads and 2 x M8 washers per post to provide enough clearance...

Front of bridge..... front post hole is covered....

Tried to get back side of bridge installed - there is a slight gap and it's fully seated on the posts.....

Did you get these yet? Was just looking at his firebird bass set as a possible drop in for my rumblekat.

I did! Installed them and did a gig with my little brunch trio. These pups required no surgery and just dropped right in. They are exactly what I was hoping for. Deep and clear, just awesome.
I can recommend you contact Josh Gravellin. He was a pleasure to work with.
