Yes Used the middle pickup ring myself, just like the options this gives meFair enough.
I tend to use the top of the mid-position pickup as my thumbrest, but I can see how this might work
Yes, I did notice a difference with Mod Bar on/off much clearer and defined with Mod bar for meI took my mod bar off my Jack Casady, noticed no diff with the silk on the TIs laying on the saddle now. And I wasn’t going for the ultimate in sustain anyway.

A couple notes, the Mod Bar I cut in half, lot easier on string changes. I put Rotosound Tapewounds on, really nice fullness and bite View attachment 3509343View attachment 3509341
