Wanted to show my baby.
It is in a smaller shot in the "Family Portrait" a few pages back.
But this Stingray deserves a post of it's own.
It is my favorite Ray in the bunch.
2008 Limited Edition Sequoia Gold Stingray HS4 with all the gold fixins!
Truly a stingray I will take to the grave. A keeper!

Here's mine. The first one is Ibanez sr900 with Aguilar OBP-3 as preamp and two EMG DC40 pickups. Next i'm thinking of putting a Kahler tremolo bridge on it. The second is Kramer Disciple refinished (didn't really care for that red and black paint, yuk!)with gold hardware and a wooden thumb rest. I changed pickup to EMG MMTW and the preamp to EMG BQS w/ 18v. I like my basses as versatile as possible. And I can cover almost everything I need with these two.

A natural finish Fender P.
I think it was a 1976 or 77?....Know it was a few years old and I bought it when I started playing in 1979. ( wish I still had it )

Can anyone help me decipher the markings in the neck pocket? It's a 1970 according to everything I know,I just wanted a little bit of confirmation as to the neck pocket marks. Thank you. The neck is stamped in green : 5 22 016 B
and the neck has a hand written 5 and a small red circle with a number 5, also there is a number 13 on the top of a shape of half of a square.
