IME, Lakland does P's and J's better than Fender, the quality is exceptional!

I've tried to find a flaw, but can't. The quality is very high.

just got this last week

it's a DLC Custom Fretless 5, made by Jon dela Cruz, a local luthier here in Manila

...it has a chambered ash body with a cedar top. Pickups are custom wound by Jon too

Those Carvins look awesome too.

The Disciple is a great little bass, kinda' aggressive and thumpy at the same time. I got it used, with a case, for just $250!

The Carvins and Lakland are on a higher overall quality level, and are my favorite basses, but I'll gig that Kramer any day!
