Thought I'd share since I finally took some pics of my 'collection'. The maple neck belongs to the P bass in the back. They are actually in order of acquisition from left to right, back to front.
....and yes, I know...the sunburst J needs a tort pickgaurd! But it might not be staying long if I can locate the right 55-01 fretless. :bassist:

I built this bass in 1982. Ash P-Jazz body (unknown brand), rising sun paint scheme (my design), custom made Performance Guitars 21 fret Tele Bass style maple neck, rosewood board with side markers only (so no one could figure out my awesomeness lol) Bartolini passive P pup, DiMarzio jazz pup, Dimarzio bridge, Schaller jumbo tuners, pickup selector switch and a volume pot. The Bartolini is not real hot and the jazz pickup was the hottest I could get so the pickups balance perfectly!! Very good, solid sounding, high mattress mileage bass. It has served me well. Never put a back cover plate on it though:p Oh, and a Felix The Cat sticker!!

Roscoe Century Standard 5
Swamp Ash body
Trans White finish
Bart 3-band preamp
Bart JJ's in the "JB" location
3-piece Maple neck
Unlined Fretless Black Diamondwood fingerboard

Guaranteed to irritate overblown guitarist egos in one note. Not the voice of an angel, the voice of a P!$$3d off demon.

My favorite bass. EVAR. :bassist:

That head/neck combo is PURE SEX.
