I hate to be a downer but did you pay a lot for this bass?
Just based in the picture (and I can't tell a lot from that) but it looks almost like somebody stripped the top and finished it in clear. The musicman logo also looks almost like a waterslide decal based on the cut out shape of it. I would do some serial number checking if I were you.

Yea, sorry dude, but these SUB basses came with flat black necks and someone's stripped the headstock facing except for the musicman logo. USA made musicman basses have a different logo entirely...

Here is my latest Bass and Rig, I love it. I found my Rogue at a pawn shop for 140$ and spent 2 hours tweaking and adjusting, plays and sounds great. My rig was a 110$ steal from a cl classified ad. Loud and clean + great OD from the GK.Link Removed

I've also recently been giving a custom paint job to a bass guitar I was told was an Aria Pro II SB-1000CB... however it's definitely NOT a SB-1000CB! If anyone knows what it is, it's be awesome if you could tell me. It looks like an Aria Pro II WCTB-2, except the jack input is not actually on the front but is around the edge of the body instead. The pickup layout and hardware matches the headstock and main shape matches, but the input is confusing me and there is no serial number... HALP D: Here it is as it is right now, anyway:
