Model # SB602, made in Westerly RI in 1988. I got this in a very cool trade deal for my SWR Triad cab... really I was looking for a different cab, and only looked into the bass as an offer because it seemed interesting, and just not expected. Last time I'd played a Pilot was back in '93 I guess, in my hometown of Westerly in fact. It was a good time playing that bass, which belonged to a friend of a friend at some jam in someone's house...
I'm still not sure if it's staying. I've got other needs and so far it seems just a little superfluous- but it's pretty, plays well, and I like the EMGs. With a set of LaBella FL-760s on it it does a nice voice, and I think I should give it a chance before moving it on. I'll get by without selling it for a while anyway, and if I end up digging it very much I'll just thin the quiver some other way.
