The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Hey everyone

Here’s my 2022 Fender Ultra Jazz Bass. I swapped the pickguard with a custom one so that the bass just looks like the most basic 3Ts/Tort Jazz bass hahah.

But that’s one of my favorite color.
Some QC issues mentioned earlier, but great sound, very versatile. Your typical JB, but a little high end.

Behind it, there’s my Ampeg V4B and 212. Killer rig
(That's my new wallpaper btw)

Nice and classic !

My latest home build.
30 inch scale, Alder body, Maple reverse headstock C shaped neck with 12 inch radius 20 fret Rosewood fretboard, Cherry pickguard, 4 way reverse Tele controls, the reverse P and J pickups are from the spare parts bin, The tuners are an old set of Grovers I had on hand..It's setup for BEAD tuning with .130 to .065 GHS Boomers.

Do you like the sound of it? As in, is it what you envisioned ?

On a completely different note, I had the chance to see Mr. Big last night with Billy Sheehan. They were amazing. Billy was incredible. Watching him do dual leads with the guitarist was ridiculous. Check them out if you have the chance.
Incredible bassist. Saw Mr Big after the release of Lean Into It. Sheehan blew me away and I fell in love with the Yamaha Attitude but even then was a little out of my budget. Long since on my bucket list.

Was lucky to see 'em when they opened for Rush on the Presto tour... my first major concert.

Well its been 6+ years since my last Bass related purchase. Went into a Guitar Center to grab some picks as Im finally getting back on the bass train after an equally long amount of time not playing. Wouldn't you know it, this CV70s P bass and an Ampeg combo amp somehow followed me out of the store. Not sure how that happened. Obviously I didn't waste much time getting it up to "par." (Ashtrays, thumb rest, straplocks and strap.) Now I'm heavily debating on if I want to go with a mint/aged white/creme pickguard for her.
