This was the first bass I bought after I decided to start playing again and join a band about a year and half ago, a Troy Sanders Squier Jaguar. The silverburst and black headstock are what got me. Previous owner had swapped out the pickups for even cheaper ones, so it needed some attention. I've since done a bunch of mods and I feel like it's my sleeper build, and often prefer it over my Fenders.

- Swapped all eletronics:
- Fender Noiseless PJ Set from a MIM PJ Special
- Audere 4 Band Preamp
- Upgraded battery box (9v clips needs to go extinct)
- Fender bridge from a 2000 MIM P
- Hipshot licensed Y tuners (I like the look with the Jaguar shape)
- Bone nut and rolled the fretboard edges
Here are a couple of basses : Dingwall Combustion , Squier CV JB , Vintage 63 PB , Mod Fauxdera 5 w/top of the line EMG pickups and painted Copper . Mod /parts Fretless PB (Red) , Mod /parts PB (natural) . Looking to finish collection with a Squier JB that I can" Heavy Relic" with four JB pickups on one volume pot and no selector !

It sounds great. It came nicely set up with low action, yielding lots of mwah even with the stock flatwounds. Lots of tones available using the vari-gain. Overall I’m pretty happy with it.
A bass for everyday of the week...........Hay ! , what about the seventh day ? The Earth could implode if you don't buy a seventh bass.......mankind needs you , don't let us down .

My oldest and definitely my favorite bass. Looking back 15 years I feel like I got incredibly lucky to get this bass. 2008, 125th Gretsch anniversary original Junior Jet with the TV Jones pickup.
I put a Gotoh bridge on it and have strung it with GHS Precision Flats since time began.

What I see in this picture is that rosewood seems to last forever !

Thanks! It is Cocobolo. But yeah it should hopefully last a few lifetimes.
