On top ia my Warmoth Gecko. I owned this bass for 5 years.
I sold it on Ebay. On a whim, I contacted the guy that bought it and told him if he ever wants to get rid of it, I would buy it back.
He said yeah, he never plays it. Deal never happened.
He contacted me a year later and said lets do the deal. 2 weeks shy of 6 years after I sold it, it was back HOME!!! I added a set of Lakland/Hanson Chisonic soapbars. A month ago I had it setup by Carl Pedigo at Lakland. Its NEVER played better.
Bottom is an American Standard P bass. I got an incredible deal from the local Best Buy as they were closing their instrument department

Great story on the Gecko returning home!
I’ve got the first Gecko that I built 21 years ago and still love it. I let the 2nd one go and wish it would pop back up for sell. I have no idea where itis now .....

If anyone knows where it is, let me know.

Yes, as far as I know. Two were being built. One for me and one for John Hall. I was getting the first with serial number 002 and John getting 001. I don’t believe the one for John was built. But if anything, there could be two out in the wild…
