Just got this one in from Michigan. Stephen Ziegenfuss signature. Buckeye burl over Swamp Ash, Birdseye maple fretboard on a maple and wenge set neck. It plays great, has exceptional sound, and has made me happy for the last 48 hours. More to come I'm sure.

Here's my newest line-up. I'm not saying that I am permanently cleared of GAS, but right now I am very satisfied! I've got my P with rounds (the MJT finished LPB), my P with flats (the Orange refin MIM), my Custom Shop 51 P reissue, and my "do everything that I can't with my Precision basses" G&L L2500.

First family pic in some time.... '97 Fender RBV, '99 G&L L-1505, '00 MTD Beast (upgraded to Grendel specs), '10 Kingston Saratoga (with Barts and NTMB). The Saratoga I just received from TB'er RobertUI (TB classifieds just rock), I haven't had a chance to put on new strings on that bass yet.

A truly unique and beautiful instrument. I too often think we overlook the true art that luthiers so beautifully create. The contours, and choices of shape and wood selections. Carey Nordstrand is a true genius and a savant in the world of bass building in my opinion.

I've only ever had 2 basses made specifically for me. This is the only one that has stayed with. Her name is "Gigi" after my daughter Giuliana. Hope you like it. It is a Oscar Fernandez aka PRAT basses. It is a flamed maple body with flamed maple wings and neck. It is a buckeye top with a blue tine laid over the top. The fretboard is ebony and a matching headstock. The electronics are the Aguilar DCB pups with a Mike Pope 4 band pre. 36" scale and absolutely one of a kind. If you look close at the last fret, you can see the work "Gigi"...

I'm curious about this Landing Strat bass. How does it play? I'm kinda gassing over an L132 and I'm not even into short or medium scales.

I love it, and I would buy another Landing in a heartbeat. They're a bit pricey, and I found mine used which is pretty rare. Huge sound, and you can get about any tone from the pickup combinations and EQ. The neck is very easy to play, and overall workmanship is worth the money. As you can see I have a few short scales. It doesn't bother me going back and forth between scale lengths.
