I haven't done one of these in a long time, so here is where I'm at as of today:

My first bass I paid for with my own money when I was 12 years old. Schecter Stiletto Custom-5. It has a spector tonepump preamp and two EMG 40J's. All the hardware was also changed to black

Dean Eric Bass Hillsboro. Autographed by Eric Bass himself when I met him at the 2011 NAMM show where my band played, and I was using this bass

1983 Squier JV Jazz with Lindy Fralin pickups.

1988 Fender MIJ Precision bass with Wizard Thumper pickup.

Frankenstein Fender Jazz...Mid 80's MIJ E serial body, refinished MIM Jazz neck, Wizard Big P/J Pickup combo, a hybrid of Gotoh bridges... and the tuners and control plate are AVRI 62.

From left to right: 2001 MIA Fender PJ - Squier VM 70s Jazz (with DiMarzio model Js) - "Burny Slanders" (1997 Yamaha BBG4, charred to a crisp with Fender Super 55s) - Warwick Corvette 5 - Squier Classic Vibe 60s Stratocaster....and in the front row my Martin DRS1.

Nice (version of) Fiesta red! It's one of those colours that's all over the charts, either pale salmon or nearly firetruck red. Yours hits the sweet-spot! I didn't know Squier did that colour back then and now that I know I'm going to keep my eyes pealed for one!

Ha thank you! Oddly beautiful sounds good to me. The JV Squier plays like a dream, but really you can't lose with an MIJ Fender / Squier from this era. The '88 Precision is almost just as good!

Yeah this was a standard colour on JV's! The funny thing is that red may be my least favourite colour, but this is just so over the top and bright I can't help but like it. I took the pickguard off to the accentuate the colour!

Always liked these two (60's vintage) colours - Fiesta red w/mint and Firemist Gold Metallic. (from Fender - The Golden Years) Probably inspired the use of FR for the Road Worn series. The lower is a late '65 w/pops & matching hs.
