nice Gyver. I realized I failed to say what mine were.
both are 2012 Fender Select (one is Jazz and other is P)
I have a Music man Sting ray slo special on the way and will of course post a pic of that later.

Very cool, have always loved the Select Jazz Bass, maybe some day...but my wife was a saint for letting me getting the Franklin recently so I won't push it for a while.

Hi,

Not earth-shattering news or anything. But I'm a little excited because my luthier just returned and old friend of mine. (Sorry for the lousy phone pic.)

1978 Gibson RD Artist:

I haven't played this bass for over 20 years and now it's been restored, except for the distressed finish. All the electronics have been cleaned, chrome de-rusted and polished, new strings and setup, even new OEM switch covers! I'm looking forward to rocking this bass on my next gig.

Oh, that one.. it was my second bass, bought as a build kit back in, uh.. '82? Double Eagle body & neck, Dimarzio pickups, brass hardware. I reversed the nut & strings and played it lefty for many years, but pretty much retired it after I got the ESP.

I currently own my dads friends old hondo II p bass.
I just painted it over the summer. It is missing electronics and the neck has a bit of backbow and twist to it. The truss rod is as far counter clockwise as it can, so I hope strings can pull it forward.

It's a P bass w/ a body dating from Nov 51 [made by Eddie Miller] and 11-55 neck.

If your dad's Tele bass has paddle shaped tuners [see your original post] it would indicate a 1968 production date, afaik.

74/75 Transition. Near as I can tell the only 75 thing on it is the body and the serial. Neck was made in Oct of 74. Everything else is pre 75. Assembly line clean-up. Works for me.
