nice Gyver. I realized I failed to say what mine were.
both are 2012 Fender Select (one is Jazz and other is P)
I have a Music man Sting ray slo special on the way and will of course post a pic of that later.

Very cool, have always loved the Select Jazz Bass, maybe some day...but my wife was a saint for letting me getting the Franklin recently so I won't push it for a while.

Hi,

Not earth-shattering news or anything. But I'm a little excited because my luthier just returned and old friend of mine. (Sorry for the lousy phone pic.)

I haven't played this bass for over 20 years and now it's been restored, except for the distressed finish. All the electronics have been cleaned, chrome de-rusted and polished, new strings and setup, even new OEM switch covers! I'm looking forward to rocking this bass on my next gig.

There's a lot of info about this bass here: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It's a fairly interesting instrument. Thanks for letting me "show and tell". ;)

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

A far shot of the family minus one fender pbass 51 reissue , ordered but not yet arrived.
It's a typical precious off day mess at home. No work means playing with the basses.

Fender jaguar mij, Warwick streamer single pu 99 German , musicman stingray 5, squier cv pbass ( my poor man pino bass )

I currently own my dads friends old hondo II p bass.
I just painted it over the summer. It is missing electronics and the neck has a bit of backbow and twist to it. The truss rod is as far counter clockwise as it can, so I hope strings can pull it forward.

What year is the Blonde Fender Telecaster in the rear? Im tring to find out what year the one my dad left me is he said 68 others say 69 I found 74 and now I am very confussed!!

It's a P bass w/ a body dating from Nov 51 [made by Eddie Miller] and 11-55 neck.

If your dad's Tele bass has paddle shaped tuners [see your original post] it would indicate a 1968 production date, afaik.
