I went through you last build diary and quite admire your craftmanship. As i am a fan of neck-thru instrument, have you thought about it or why do you decide not to have it done that way? It seems to me a waste of opportunity.

Finished my latest DIY project last weekend.

I've been planning on replacing my Ibanez SG 300dx for a while now and I just got a new squier vintage modified jazz bass for Christmas. The range of tones is unbelievable, the action is perfect, and the neck is my ideal size. I'm pretty much in love with it.

Here's my entire arsenal of basses. I brought them all out to a gig just because I could. Most of these are about 20 years old or older.

1978 Gibson RD Artist, 1995 Carvin LB76, 2012 Fender Kingman (MIC), 1990 Guild Pilot, 1985 Fender Jazz Special (MIJ).

$100 CL find... My Christmas present to myself. Sounds really good. It's definitely had a pro setup, the action is perfect. Just had to lower the neck pickup a hair 'cause I play kinda hard and the E string was hitting the poles. It's filthy so I'm going to tear it down and polish it up.

Recently achieved bass rig Nirvana. Got this Ray34CA used for an insane price of $299, and have just picked up these cabs and head within the past few months. So happy gear wise. Should be fun on tonights new years eve gig.
