What do you think about your Ibanez AGB205? I'm considering getting either that or the AGBV200A.

For a сhinese bass it's surprisingly well made. String spacing may be a little tight for some, but mine is strung with a high C and I play a lot of chords on it, so tight spacing actually helps not to bend my fingers too much.

The neck has a comfortable profile, truss rod works, electronic is dead silent. I'd say for a 450 Euros that I've paid for it - it's a great bass.

Have you considered "real" Fender tuners (as in: elephant ears) for the neck?

I building the Jazz For 'Myself To Play, {and nobody else} 'I making a "Player out of the Jazz" for me, ,I am not going to Restore the Jazz Back to Original, I wanted the Body, as I used to have a 73 back in time the Neck just was not wright, it was a Dead Neck on the B note on A String it would get close but never got er to play or send it off, I know several people here, that helped on the Neck, so I retired The Jazz to a Drop D Bass For D Songs that we played and did not have to use the note,."way back in time,.. ,, The B- Heff 'will be a Great Neck to Play on, I got a super deal on the Bay it is new never played or put on a bass, and had the Tuners on it,'High quality Schaller Tuners eh I can live with them, as I was Not going to take a chance or spend 1500 to 3 G's or more on a neck that would be Who Knows, " as the Body, I will Paint it Black,

I have wanted one of these since I joined TB. It's mine now, a 40th B-Day present! I was probably about 6 months old when this was made at the Matsumoku factory....

Love the way this looks!

Back in the day I put Schallers on a Fender Jazz. Good tuners, but the string (E and A) wouldn't sit low enough (across the nut) so I had to add an extra string button to the one that was already there on the D and G :( In retrospect I would have rather not done that. I can't tell from the picture, but maybe the Schallers picture are made a bit different to address that problem.
