I think they are all passive, though the one on the right has black knobs over a black pickguard so I'm not 100% sure...

Awwwww I spent all night trying to come up with more obscure "common" themes:

• They are all made of some combination of wood, metal, plastic, and magnets
• All the pickups are black
• They are all grouped together in a single room, of a particular domicile, located on some planet (Earth? I make no assumptions!)

...can I sleep now?

I know plenty of people make "what bass is this" threads, but I feel like this should be a pretty quick spot for you guys. I've been digging this Jaguar-ish bass that I've seen the bass player/singer for The Dangerous Summer using on his last few tours. Just curious what it is.

It's like getting a new Bass !
I was thinking about selling My Kramer "The Duke" Bass so I ordered a new switch and pots for it to put it back to stock. I traded for it 4-5 years ago and the electronics needed help badly and instead of fixing it I put an EMG 35TW in it because I had a Duke back in the late 80's and didn't care for the stock pickup configuration. Now I'm wondering if I've ever heard one wired correctly or if my tastes have changed. This Bass sounds amazing now, especially with the Switch in the Middle(Split coil) position. There's something really special going on with that Aluminum neck, Ebonol fretboard and whatever frets they put in these are the hardest substance known to this man. The frets don't show any wear. I think I'll keep it now !

Beautiful. Had one of those back inna day. Was worried the peghead>bridge angle
would cause winding damage but always seemed to stay in tune and being as
Steinberger's were en vogue at the time, it was a fun distraction. Wish I still had it.
