Yes, missed that! Never seen that done before - curious as to the logic behind it.
They are both medium scale basses.

"Tailpiece" is so I can use long scale strings...

And also medium scale strings, just anchored in the front bridge... Ive got piles of medium scale sets , but some strings are not available in medium
 
Here is a 2018 Fender Player Precision that I recently purchased from a fellow TB'r It showed very little player wear and even came with a set of TI flats :hyper:

I replaced the white pick guard with a black one which I think it suits it much better. If it didn't have the maple board I would have gone with Tort but I don't think Burst+Maple goes with Tort. I know it won't sound as good without Tort but them's the breaks...
