I allso have the bass Q filter. So now I need to throw a bass together I suppose. I want an ash body... And in another thread I showed an ugly yellow neck with blocks. But I assume with some sunlight 't'll won't be like a yellow Ferrari anymore. And I have some lovely lollipop tuners and a nice old style Fender bridge with brass sadles….
Is it yellow b/c the finish or the wood? I refinished a MM S.U.B. neck and took it from very yellow to a softer amber with just a tru-oil finish.
This is what I have currently. I don't foresee any changes to the lineup, they're all different and they're all great.
Nice! What is the silver one in the first pick? Is that a MM with a Strat pup config?!?!?!
Music Man Big Al SSS. They made them for a few years, based on the body style of the Albert Lee guitar. Sadly discontinued in 2016, but you can still find them in the classifieds occasionally. The three single coil pickups can be used in any combination, active or passive. They also made a single H version, which I owned before selling it to buy the SSS.

Movin Target... I have another topic. Called Yellow neck.... It has blocks. So I am not eager to sand it.... Oil may be a nice way to go.

I see your point... if you were to defret it too, it would be feasible, but that's a lot of work and unless you know it's a phenomenal neck... It just might not be worth it...

Okay guys enough teasing, though I guess I like peeking at some nice tops n bottoms as much as the next guy...
I have a Squier Jazz, like yours. Are those Space Invaders characters on the fretboard of the one next to the Squier?
I've only had it for less than a month, but I love it. Best P bass I've ever played. It's light, the unfinished neck feels great, and I think the charcoal frost/tort combo is gorgeous. I am still experimenting with the mute, but it's great to be able to get that old-school thump with the flip of a lever. I originally was looking for a Custom Shop Pino but I'm extremely happy with the Hurley.
