I recently purchased this MX pbass neck "ROASTED MAPLE PRECISION BASS® NECK, 20 MEDIUM JUMBO FRETS, 9.5", MAPLE, C SHAPE ". I wanted to know which tuning machines I can install (maybe something modern, like the new american ultra basses). Thanks, Hello.

Boult RD I scored from UK, from a guy who bought the remaining boult stock when the company was shut down. Also a future modding project

I finally properly finished my de-fretted Tribby L2K neck. Fret slots filled with maple strips, gone over with a leveling beam, finish sanded with a radius block to 1200 grit and finished with BLO.

It was a fun project and is far more satisfying to play with the slots filled. BLO = Boiled linseed oil.

My latest addition. loved my fretless Corta bass from Scott so much I had him build me a fretted C bass. Texas mesquite complete with mesquite beetle bore holes. Once on a while one of those little buggers pops it’s head out and gives me a wink
