For this matter there is little we can actually do, except biding you welcome and encouraging you to stick to many hours of practicing!
Eventually, after a few decades, you'll be able to start comprehending what this is about...

First there was a Yamaha RBX170. My dad's gift when I was 18.
Fast forward to more than 12 years later, I am married, my wife, who already is a singer and keyboard player, picks my Yammy up and falls in love with bass...and there comes the Warwick (well, Rockbass) Corvette $$ 5-string.
A few years later, we purchased the old, beloved Squier Vintage Modified Precision V for less than 300€. Still going strong, sounding much better than most people would tolerate or deem possible such a ridiculous price.
Picture dates back to 2016 I think. Everything in the picture has since gone except the basses, of course, and the MB combo, which sits in her band's rehearsal room.
YES! I loved my ATK even if it weighed a ton!. I liked the sound so much I made a bass with TWO of that Pickup (see profile pic).

I don't trust Dunlop strap locks. Especially when in a body that places it in a position where it is pointing up. I had a bass once where the upper horn was such that the strap peg was pointing up. The Dunlop failed. Pop, crash! Bass hit the floor. The above bass is too beautiful to have that risk. Schaller's design is superior, it essentially has a fail safe, your guitar will never hit the floor unless the screw breaks.
Thanks. How did you find that? Thought it was an early Villain but wasn’t sure. Only found a pic of one like it and it was here years ago and the poster had no idea what it was either.
Now that I know what it is, found a pic of its twin for sale in London.

Good insight. These were installed upon purchase and haven’t given them a second thought as I’ve played the bass almost exclusively seated without a strap!
