New Ibanez SR1200E and a Rumble 75. This pair makes it really easy to stay motivated.
nice combo there, Pachap. that Ibby doesn't look as orange as it does in a lot of the stock photos i've seen.
I was apprehensive about the color as I saw it on Sweetwater. But it was a demo and I had the 36 months no interest that they ran over the 4th of July weekend gnawing at me. When it got it I was very happy about it. It is a bit darker than what it looks like in the picture.
I am a bass noob, but played guitar about 18 years. Over the past 6 weeks I have bought 3 basses. The other 2, now sold or traded away, were Ibanez SR300's. So while I don't have a lot of a bass-specific reference point I can say that I am very happy with the build quality of my SR1200E, and the variety of tones is really nice. It gets some punch to it pretty easily and it comfortable to play.
I don't know how it happened, but I am again at 8 basses (and an upright). Here's my most recent family photo. Hope you like

HAHA!! I can assure Johnny has seen years of sweaty bare chested rocking shows!! Johnny got punched many times, thrown against amps, been slid across stages and many more to come. I am not a bass player but a showman and Johnny is the perfect stage buddy for it
