The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

My humble Squier Classic Vibe fretless Jazz and 80s Peavey T-20. I have become a big fan of the Classic Vibe Series. I love the vintage tint on the maple. I would like to add a CV Precision, but the T-20 pretty much covers the P-Bass vibe. I probably won't let that stop me though. You can't tell from the photo, but the T-20 has some nice genuine play wear on the body contours, and an an aged tint on the pick guard. It's too bad the old USA Peavey stuff didn't hang on and become classic instruments in their own rite. I know people like them, but I don't think they'll ever be desirable like classic Fenders.

The chair is named Mrs. Roper.

Looked familiar...mine is a 58.

Stunning!
Do you know what the difference is b/w 57 and 58?
Actually, I do not know exactly, whether it is 57 or 58, I have bought it used and without documents. I just assume it is a 57 based on the marking on the heel of the neck.
Apart from ashtrays (the previous owner lost them), you are right, they are very similar. I have taken off the fingers rest as it impeded.

I honestly don't know the difference. The neck on my 58 feels much like the profile on the RW P's as it is thinner front to back. My AO50's is a chunkier neck. Perhaps neck profile is different between 57 and 58 (if they did both)?
