Seriously, that is a pretty nice collection, I don't think there is much overlap sonically nor is there much missing... Save for some exotic basses...

Hah, yeah, thanks! Maybe an acoustic (the need has popped up from time to time), but I will probably add a second P to run rounds on it. I keep flats on my current P. I won't gig with the T-40 I don't think.

Why not gig with the T-40? Too heavy? I don't have one (I have a T-20) but I understand they weigh a ton. I'm not a gigging bassist, so I'm just curious if there are other reasons.

Weight is one concern, but for now I'm content with it being playable. I need to get to know it again. And now that I have a few years of experience under my belt I want to take some time to appreciate it a bit before I take it into action.

The 32" scale "Gilaxis" with many pu selections/options (thanks to tb member @cdlynch for his help sorting it and providing the lovely graphics) String stop is from a '60s Japanese short-scale bass.

Design inspiration came from the 1959 Burns-Weill SuperStreamline bass and incorporating '80s vintage Peavey T-40 humbucking pu's which are split-pole adaptable. Sperzel locking tuners
