The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Man, I wish I could share real photo of my basses and gear, the links will have to do. My phone (LG K-30) just won't allow me to upload photos to my computer. And I cannot attempt to use computer camera, because I don't want to damage my laptop. (Falling risk, you see).
File transfer from a phone to a computer can sometimes be tricky, but in recent years it has become easier. Here's a link on how to transfer files from your model of phone. It includes screenshots

Can’t you just email the photos from your phone to yourself and open them on your PC?

Well, I can sketch well and I have the links saved. So, if the links are not good enough and you guys do not trust me yet, I just do not know what else to do. I do not have a printer or a scanner as they were stolen in a home robbery while I was disabled. NCIS police report number: 2020-071510. I was in the hospital for 2 months recovering from bariatric bypass surgery, and still am. I am permanently disabled so I play sitting down. I AM a supporting member, so just look at my profile. I have no reason to lie. Look at my posting history!

Went to my local gear dispensory today to test drive some basses I was interested in, the Squier 60s CV Jass fretless and a Fender Player Precision with the Buttercream clothes on.

The fretless hit the "meh" button. The creamy Precision was kinda awesome and I was thinkin this might have a home with me.

But I looked once again at a Player Precision dressed in silver with a Pau Forget the name fret board. Instant bond, dunno if any of you know what thats like  But it was music with first pluck, it just felt so right, so good.

So,

No I di-int, but yeah, I did.

Here is a trash find, before and after... I have about $50.00 into it. The tuners are garbage and I might upgrade them at some point. The guitar is all original (I think) except for the bridge, control knobs and strap posts.
The third picture is my Mikro. I bought that a few years ago. I plan to make some changes to it soon. I'm going to move the jack plug to the face and relocate the J pickup pot so the four will make a diamond shape.

Is that the original pg that was covered with that green whatever?

Food for thought on the Mikro.

First of all, understand I have a Mikro 5er and I LOVE it... but the combination of a relatively soft, light wood (maybe you have one of the sturdier ones?) and the paper thin finish means that it is SUPER easy to crack the clear coat if there is any flexing, which might happen on the face of the bass if you move the jack there. I'm not saying it can't be done nor that it shouldn't be done, but I just know that I wish I'd purchased a hand reamer before trying to widen the pot shaft holes on mine as the finish wanted to crack so easily...
