The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

Saturday morning...

Personally, used Carvins and Kiesels are the best value around, by far. US Peaveys are a distant second, because their proprietary preamps and pickups go faulty enough, ime, and I've never had a problem with my Carvins...rock-solid workhorses. These pictured are both discontinued B5s. Kiesel needs to bring back 17mm string spacing on numerous models again, because not everyone prefers unnecessarily wide 19mm necks. 17s are soooo easy to play on, and I have bigger hands than most people my size, too (5' 9").

Didn't know Tokai did a T-bird - could you post a pic or two featuring it?

...possible next project?

Just curious - first, that Tokai is still around and second, that they recently (2020) made a T-bird. Tokai is primarily known for their '80s "Hard Puncher" P-clone and "Jazz Sounds" J-clone but I haven't seen anything new. Greco and Orville made one but those are also from the '80s. Apparently with renewed interest in the early '60s T-bird now that Epi re-issued one, it looks like Tokai has followed suite.

Not to mention the law suit threat from Gibson to many of those that made T bird alternatives
