if you love it, awesome. Dig your cab... love my Goliath III...
New Bass Day - My 1st Squier. Very impressed with the quality, sound and performance - I do want to change the strings out to daddario chromes and maybe a thumb rest.
These are my main basses at this point. They are, from left to right, a Fender Geddy Lee Signature Jazz Bass (Made in Mexico version), a G&L Fullerton Deluxe JB (vintage white, Caribbean rosewood fingerboard), and a Fender Player Series Fretless Jazz Bass (3-Color Sunburst, Pau Ferro fingerboard). Mods are a black pickguard on the Geddy, and for the fretless I put a Tusq Nut on it, a tortoise shell pickguard, and a high mass bridge. Strings are .045-.105 Rotosound Swing Bass 66 Nickel Roundwounds on the Geddy, .045-.105 D'Addario Roundwounds on the G&L, and .045-.105 Rotosound RS77LD Jazz 77 Flatwounds on the fretless.
As of today, I am back up to two:
Well, this seems like a good time to show my "decision tree" picture. I routinely take a shot like this to help figure out what may want to sell/trade. And of course, the items I won't sell.
My #1 the Dakota Red one , the Pinky is my buddy Greg's .
My 63? 64? (can't tell exactly, the s/n is covered by an original sticker about the neck) 32" scale Hagstrom Coronado IV. I found it on ebay in 2006.
All straight with the original Bi-Sonics, and Haggys "fast" neck (skinnier than a Geddy). Very rare. It sounds wonderful and I feel lucky to have it.
My new arrival - Lakland 44-94 Shoreline Series.
My collection continues to grow. Here are some unboxing photos. This 'Bird was born on October 12.
That is a beauty !
I've wanted a Lakland since they came out in exactly that combo finish. A beauty!! It's still on my bucket list....
Love that Bird!!!!
All cleaned, polished, lemon oiled and fresh strings.
Very Nice - tell us more about it.
I can't possibly like this enough times!
Look at that neck.
It's a '17 Custom Shop Artisan Postmodern
Thank you - that is a nice looking bass. LJ
Nice! Is that a jazz neck on a P bass body? What is the neck profile?
Yep, it looks like the Custom Shop Artisan Postmodern Fenders are P-basses with Jazz necks. Nice!
If only Fender would produce more of them, and at regular, non-custom prices...!
