Thank you! The inlays are called Black Sparkle. Marusczcyk offers it for custom builds..I like them and I have them in one of my other Public Peace builds also.

Not the best pic, but after a long while of not playing that much and not posting here, I finally got a fiver and started practicing again. Sandberg California II TM5 Grand Dark.

Sandberg really goes after details ... it's what makes their basses visually different. Having never played one I can't comment on how the sound, but I like the way they look.

I could not get used to that maple board on the American Professional I P bass - so I sold it. Just like the look of rosewood.

Back to 2 basses - the 71 and the made in Korea Squier (fixed up with a gold anodized pick plate and EMG Geezers). Have a Tony Franklin neck coming, so a fretless build coming soon.
