That 'Ray...is that the burnt ends finish? Looks nice and I'm usually lukewarm on busts. That bunch should cover everything!

The single cut Warmoth? That should win a design award for flawless execution.
Sofar all I have heard is that is was a special run for Guitar center. I am not sure what the burnt ends finish is.

Man I hate single cutaway basses.... But that Warmoth has me thinking.....
Funny thing about it - my friend says the body looks a little like a Les Paul - but the neck looks more Fender. So maybe it is the best of both builds. lol
Looks like Warmoth no longer offers that body style..

I put this together for my buddy a few years ago & he just dropped it off for a little TLC . It's a Fender export Squire neck on a Renegade one piece Walnut body . I just popped on a Fender BA I had laying around . Killer bass , look at the quality of Rosewood they used . Oh man it's a fantastic neck !

That body is beyond gorgeous. Then again, I have always been a sucker for walnut.

A Sterling by Music Man Short Scale bass.
The Drop Copper bodies come with maple fretboards and the Olympic White bodies some with rosewood fretboards. So I bought one of each and swapped the necks.
I hated the stock electronics with a passion. They felt cheap and sounded muddy, even in single-coil mode. So, I also pulled out the stock electronics and installed an EMG MMTW with an EMG Pull/Pull volume pot and an EMG BTS Control (a 2-band preamp equalizer). Now, this bass offers a HUGE range of useable tones.
Since there was not enough room in the control cavity for a 9v battery, I routed a cavity in the back to support a Graph Tech Ghost 9v Battery Box.
Now, this bass looks great, plays great, and sounds great. It’s a keeper.
Next, it’s time to sell the Olympic White body with a maple fretboard.
