The official "Show your basses" thread part 19!

I may have posted photos of my basses long ago, but maybe I'll do a new family pic in the future. This is my Midnight Wine MIM P, my last 4-string that I just kept mostly for sentimental reasons, hanging on the wall for many years now. Well, as I was recently restringing basses, I decided to experiment stringing it BEAD, and wow, I really enjoy playing again, and did so at some rehearsals. Then (to the actual dismay of all three bandmates) I replaced the white PG with this tort, and I'm very happy with the new look. It's a very-cool feeling, kinda like getting new and fresh, but with an old flame, lol... :)

That looks great!

After one day of playing - it is actually a nice bass. Great construction and easy playability, Lobster mentioned the pickups were a little light on the bottom side.

But he plays rounds on his, I have ordered a set of labella flats and will make my decision then. I feel the flats will beef it up a bit, but who knows.
