No it’s a vinyl 3 ply and the striping is pressed/carved out of the guard. They have some factory stock for sale on their website (where I got this), but do made-to-order custom guards as well.

Ok, thanks - sounds like CNC laser-cut. Another way it's been done is screen-printing on the bottom of a clear pg.
White lettering and border first - black on top.

I agree with this. I have one PJ with Dimarzio's and the other with Duncan's and I prefer the Duncan's.

I like the EMI Geezer P/J set
My current rotation is my Warmoth Jazzmaster, Darkray and Am Std P.
- After sandpapers. But does it sound good? Compared to every thing else in existence in this reality yes, with tone+volume at 50% its nice
I own the 5 string version of this bass and I really should play it more than I do. I've gotten complements when I play it. So I suppose my fretless playing isn't so bad after all.
You should. Fretted instruments are "children-guitars" and this sounds very nice with volume and tone at 50%
