It’s really a tremendous instrument. The build quality is extremely high, tone for days, plays like butter and it’s not that heavy for a 5. Basstheworld and Lowendlobster have done YouTube reviews on this bass and I think they just nail it.
Alright, it's Christmas in August! Decided to trade one of my P basses for something T-birdesque. I have been eyeballing the newer Gibson non-reverse t-birds for some time, but had been concerned about the ergonomics and potential neck dive. Not sure if they do or not but man, that's a long body!
Cue the Fano PX4 Alt de Facto bass. The Fano sports a non-reverse t-bird type body, 32” scale neck and Lollar t-bird pickups. Controls are volume, pan and tone, and the Silvertone burst finish is right up my kitsch alley. The 32” scale neck is a breeze to play and with a 1.5" nut, this just might be my favorite neck.

That bottom one looks great. Any idea who made that neck?
Thank-you, I had Warmoth make that neck for me in 1988. It's birdseye maple/Ebony. It came with a Fender headstock but I cut it to that shape shortly after. I didn't know about the Warhead shape back then, just a coincidence.
Somebody needs a bigger couch...
Loving the color theme there, it gives the collection an overall "quality" look, like fine old furniture.... And you sure have expensive taste!
You could probably fit all of them on this. Including the ones in back.

Thanks my friend! Funny you mention the color theme. That is indeed a problem because it stopped me from buying nice basses which had the wrong color (like blue or green)
Ah yes, too many strings. That's a beautiful collection you have there. Could you tell me a little about the precision style bass in front to the left?
